No Heat in MAINE get help here now!

ITS So cold in Maine with no heat so I hope to god this helps you out,, we had to use the stove at first then we bought 2 electric heaters it was still cold cold, so finally I Tried moving one heater to the other end of the trailer, WOW what a difference it really mad the bed room and hall way warmer Try different areas of the house Plastic all window fill all doors with either duck tape

what you nee will need:  Where to buy-Dollar store

Duck tape-boxes broke down or not, this works the best

Card board at any store they will have stock that came in and have cardboard just ask them for 3 

Take any kind of plastic

Plastic trash bag -use scissors to slice it so its longer

Don't have any plastic u can use shopping bags the small ones or

take news paper and roll it up as an insulation put t in your windows then put a blanket or 1-2 old sheets over your windows then nail it

your purpose here is to STOP the WIND+AIR from coming in,use any means possible it will keep you at least 25 degrees warmer in your house,trailer shed what ever you live in........

WINDOWS

First of all and do this now-duck tape plastic around your windows then take strips of cardboard or paper of any kind and nail it around your window so the plastic covers the whole entire window then make sure there s no windy drafts coming in around the plastic, if its still breezy then nail more cardboard o tape around window

 Duck tape you will want 2 pair of socks or gloves on your hand so you can rub the tape a lot or it will come off.... 

Vents

You have heater vent well then cover them!!

Cardboard,newspaper,rugs blankets anything o plug the holes up

Doors

Got holes??

well fill them with  newspaper duct tape it so it fills in the light coming in from the border of the door, if you stand back look for any light coming through, try to fill it, walmart has FOAM Filler for window it cost $4-$5 its worth it, it will make a difference

No money then try your best to fill all and any holes in your house

call your town hall for general assistance tell them your out of heating oil

DHS-department of Human services

211 -Maine has a number you call just pick up phone and dial 211 they will give you a listing for heating help

P.s you must have cold floors as we do so try going to the dump finding free carpeting, lots of folks throw away perfectly good rugs just to buy new they replace their carpeting every 3 - 4 years so its like new to us low
