LA — When Los Angeles cold case detectives caught up with Samuel Little this past fall, he was living in a Christian shelter in Kentucky, his latest arrest a few months earlier for alleged possession of a crack pipe. But the LA investigators wanted him on far more serious charges: The slayings of two women in 1989, both found strangled and nude below the waist — victims of what police concluded had been sexually motivated strangulation's.
Little's name came up, police said, after DNA evidence collected at old crime scenes matched samples of his stored in a criminal database. After detectives say they found yet another match, a third murder charge was soon added against Little.
The 72-year-old former boxer and transient awaits trial inLos Angeles, authorities in numerous jurisdictions in California, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, Mississippi and Ohio are scouring their own cold case files for possible ties to Little. One old murder case, in Pascagoula, Miss., already has been reopened. DNA results are pending in some others.

Little's more than 100-page rap sheet details crimes in 24 states spread over 56 years — mostly assault, burglary, armed robbery, shoplifting and drug violations. In that time, authorities say incredulously, he served less than 10 years in prison. as long as he didnt hurt rape or kill anyone!!!!!!!!!!

But Los Angeles detectives allege he was also a serial killer, who traveled the country preying on prostitutes, drug addicts and troubled women.
They assert Little often delivered a knockout punch to women and then proceeded to strangle them while masturbating, dumping the bodies and soon after leaving town. Their investigation has turned up a number of cases in which he was a suspect or convicted.

I cant think of  what should be done with these ass holes besides the death penalty because they take our lives away. I have PTSD from being rapped I wake up with nightmares remembering back, when he ruined my life, please vote for stricker laws, a person that rapes another person should first be found guilty in the court of law then be sentenced a minimum of  30 years and that's if they are just a part of the crime if they actually do it they should get death STOP wasting our tax dollars because they take a life when rapping or abusing or molesting!! I think they have to prove it then DEATH!

Lets stop this now before it ruins any more lives 3 of my friends Woman and men have been molested and rapped they all have issues they are all scared for life!!

safety seay-wish it  was that easy to keep them safe...

Lets do something about this, make it wide open tell on the people that are doing it don't let them get away with it to do it to a child again!!

Rapist and kidnapper Gary Irving enters the courtroom where he was sentenced at Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham,Thursday, May 23, 13.  from Rockland, Ma., Irving also changed his identity and lived in Portland, Maine, on the run since  1978 when he assaults.
Gary Irving was convicted of three rapes in Massachusetts in 1978 and was found living in Gorham. He was sentenced on Thursday, May 23, to two 18-20 state prison terms to be served consecutively.

Gary Irving was convicted of three rapes in Massachusetts in 1978 and was found living in Gorham. He was sentenced on Thursday, May 23, to two 18-20 state prison terms to be served consecutively.
DEDHAM, Mass. — A convicted serial rapist who hid  in Maine for 34 years finaly sentenced to two prison terms that could keep him behind bars for the next four decades!!
On Thursday, in the same Dedham, Mass., court in which he failed to appear in 1979, 52-year-old Gary Alan Irving was sentenced to two consective 18- to 20-year terms in state prison.(NOT ENOUGH if you ask me!)
Irving was supposed to be sentenced June 27, 1979, after he was convicted in the rapes of three 16-year-old girls in Weymouth, Cohasset and Holbrook.
After defaulting, authorities say he settled in Maine, where he was married, worked in telecommunications, and had children and a grandchild.
In March, authorities arrested Irving, who was Massachusetts State Police’s longest-wanted fugitive, at his home in Gorham, Maine. At first, police said he gave them a fake name, but eventually confirmed he was their man.
Irving, wearing long hair in a ponytail, eyeglasses and a scraggly beard, hung his head into his folded hands as impact statements were read Thursday, two by victims’ relatives and one by the victim herself on a video screen.
“Today provides, finally, some answer to the survivors of these crimes,” Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey said. “This predator is finally going to prison for these attacks.
Irving was also sentenced to a seven- to 10-year concurrent sentence for kidnapping and 20 years of probation on all other counts. Prosecutors said he held his victims at knifepoint while or after forcing them into his car.
Judge Kenenth Fishman did not give credence to an argument by Irving’s attorney that the apparently straight-laced life Irving lived while on the lam should mitigate his punishment.
“He did everything that could be hoped for for him after he left,” said the attorney, Neil Tassel.
“He did so, at least in part, to avoid discovery,” Fishman responded in later remarks.
After the sentencing, Tassel said Irving did not recall assaulting anyone and that he believes DNA evidence could exonerate him.
Morrissey said state police detectives, who rededicated themselves to the investigation about two-and-a-half years ago, traveled to several states in their search for Irving.
Irving’s wife and other relatives attended Thursday’s sentencing. They declined comment as they left the courthouse.
Irving will be eligible for parole after 24 years, Tassel said. His crimes precede a change to state law that greatly limited parole eligibility for violent offenders.
“We don’t think he’s getting out,” Morrissey said.
Irving, a Rockland, Mass., native who has been held without bail since early April, faced the possibility of life in prison in 1979. But the judge who would decide his sentence, Robert Prince, allowed him to go home to his parents for a week. Irving’s father was an auxiliary Rockland police officer, so Prince didn’t believe Irving was a flight risk.
Prince, who died in 2010, expressed regret about the decision in later years.
Before the sentencing, impact statements were read on behalf of two of Irving’s victims.
The third victim submitted a video statement, the image of her face distorted. All spoke of never getting married or having children, suicidal thoughts and attempts, and feelings of being trapped.
The crimes were horrific: Irving knocked one woman off her bicycle, forced her to a secluded area and raped her repeatedly. He forced another woman into his car at knifepoint and assaulted her.
He was convicted of rape, kidnapping and unnatural acts, but the judge, in a gesture of leniency, gave him one last weekend as a free man, to say goodbye to his family and put his affairs in order before he was sentenced. Irving's father was an auxiliary police officer, so the judge reasoned that he was unlikely to flee.
FROM ME:~~~
AGAIN!!!!!! WHAT !!!they let him go home, they should have had his family stay in a room with him to say there good buys, i doubt but do not no for sure but i don't doubt there was something wrong with him in that family maybe molesting maybe mom new somthing, hmmm   you will see that a lot more then you think, mom wont say a word because she is brain washed or think it will stop, but NEVER DOES!!
ITS NOT YOUR FAULT ITS THERE FAULT THEY ARE SICK!

Irving returned the judge's trust by disappearing for the next 34 years.
Until Wednesday night. That's when state troopers from Maine and Massachusetts knocked on the door of his modest two-story house in Gorham as he watched television with his wife.
As he was being arre
SEE death penalty can we take the chance of the animals getting off!!!!
