Mindfulness - Depression - Anxiety - P.T.S.D- things that may help through your journey and mine

square stop count to 4 while taking a deep breath
count to 4 while exhaling
and repeat 4 times, It really will work, you have to think about doing it though,

Transportation for disabled familys Live

View Campaign

Transportation for disabled familys

Transportation and snow plowing for disabled and less fortunate folks, Nonprofit Family Hope

Short Summary

  • I am Maria, I am a disabled single mom taking care of my son my mom and myself, Been through a lot since my injury,
  • I have worked since 6 years old, rapped by age 7 repeatedly, I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Fibromyalgia, Bulging disc, Degenerative disc disorder,ECT...
  •  I am ready to fight and help others carry on as I have and what doesn't kill us, does make us stronger!!
  • I am taking this as an opportunity as This has pushed me over the edge to a few nervous break downs, only to encourage me to help others in our very same situation.
  • This will not just help my family but thousands of other family's that have been fighting so hard to just live through another day without giving up..
  • I plan on taking this as far as I can , and build an empire for every state out there...
  • Maine is so very cold and expensive for a plow, we could never afford the greedy

What We Need

Break it down for you in more detail:
  • First I will take $6,000 and buy a gas efficient vehicle to transport folks to where they need to go
  • 2nd of all I will take the other 6,000 to buy an efficient plow to plow folks out to get them safely out and in there yards, I know this sate is horrible if you have no transportation and plowing ability,
  • A plow job is a minimum of $35, I will donate my time and get volunteers to help us so people can have their yards done..
  • A taxi is a minimum of $9, whether its 2-3 miles, We will work together to get people where they need to go..
  • You will change so many lives, People are committing suicide because of simple stuff like this , no transportation, cant get out of there yards, they just give up, Its so hard to live like this, so you will actually save lives!!
  • If we don't reach our full goal, we can still buy transportation and start slow, and work our selves up to a plow vehicle, I do know how to barter so even if i didn't get what I need here I can work with it, and get us folks on the road to living a better and safer life
  • I drove a very unsafe car for 2 years here and there, It was so unsafe I couldnt drive my little boy in it, Thank god I  didnt because it broke in half while driving around a corner, No one should have to live like we have in the last 5 years..

The Impact

Feel free to explain more about your campaign and let people know how the difference their contribution will make:
  • This will someday change the world and make it a safer place
  • I did start 2 businesses, It was heavy work and I couldn't afford to hire help, I had to gve it up , This is different, I wont have to life anything, just drive and help people and I will have volunteers, I already have 3 people ready and waiting for me to get wheels to transport people, and we plan on taking shifts..
  • What if you or your family didn't have transportation or was stuck in there yards while a blizzard was roaring outside, If I had my Non profit Family Hope for transportation and snow removal going, wouldn't you love if I could come and clean out the yards of your loved ones , Or get then to the hospital, or to work or to the store, Wouldn't you be thankful of Theses services for your loved ones, I know i will be..

Risks & Challenges

There is no risk involved here, its all win win, everyone needs transportation, Everyone needs to be able to get out of there yards in the below 0 winters... This will help so many people,
  • My plan is to make a scheduled and get everyone's appointment dates and work with the community, with all transportation issues and in the winter same thing, work with the community

Selena-what a truly sad movie!! and true story ignurant jelouse folks right

SelenaThe tragic shooting death of Tejano singer Selena spawned a reaction within the Latino community that can be compared to the reactions to the deaths of Elvis Presley and John Lennon. An enormously popular singer in Latino communities across North America, her music crossed cultural boundaries to touch the lives of young and old alike. A flamboyant, sexy stage performer, sometimes hailed as the Latina Madonna, Selena was nonetheless considered a role model for off-stage she was family oriented, active in anti-drug campaigns and AIDS awareness programs.

She was born Selena Quintanilla to Mexican-American parents in Lake Jackson, TX. Before her birth, her father Abraham had been a member of Los Dinos. When Selena began performing at the age of ten, her father became her manager and Los Dinos became her backing band. In 1983, she made her recording debut in 1983 after appearing on popular the radio show of L.A. deejay Johnnie Canales. While Selena grew up understanding Spanish, English was her first language. Her first records were recorded in Spanish and she sang the words phonetically. After her music began to catch on, she began learning Spanish formally and by the time of her death, she was fluent in the language.

In 1987, she was named Female Vocalist of the Year and Performer of the Year at the Tejano Music Awards. Two years later she signed with EMI Latin and in 1990, she and Los Dinos released their eponymous debut album. Later that year she released a singles compilation, Personal Best, and she also released Ven Conmigo. In 1991 the title track of the latter became the first Tejano record to go gold. Selena also released two more albums, including one of Cumbia music, Baila Esta Cumbia that year. Selena married Los Dinos' lead guitarist Chris Perez in April of 1992. Other group members included her brother, Abraham Quintanilla, III, who played bass and penned many of her songs, and her sister Suzette, the drummer. She won her first Grammy in 1993 for Best Mexican American Performance for her album Selena Live. That same year, she released an album of love songs, Quiero, and she also opened Selena Etc, a clothing manufacturing business. In 1994, she made her feature-film debut in Don Juan DeMarco, in which she played a singer. Later that year, she and her band embarked upon a tour of New York, LA, Argentina, and Puerto Rico. Amor Prohibido was released in 1994; the record's title track won a Grammy and went gold. In 1995, Selena began preparing to make her breakthrough into the American pop mainstream.

In the spring of that year she was working on her first English-language album, when she went to a motel room in Corpus Christi, TX, to fire 34-year-old Yolanda Saldivar, the woman who managed Selena's boutique in San Antonio, and the founder of the Selena fan club. A few days before the confrontation Selena's father had unearthed paperwork proving that Saldivar had been embezzling from the fan club. Saldivar and Selena argued and as the singer left, she was shot in the back. Selena didn't die right away and managed to stagger into the lobby where she named Saldivar as the killer. An hour later, Selena died in a local hospital.

It was a death that rocked the entire Latino music industry. Saldivar was convicted for the murder of Selena in November, 1995 and sentenced to at least 30 years in prison.

A special service was held in the Los Angeles Colliseum where she was to give a concert. Less than a month later, Texas governor George W. Bush declared April 16, "Selena Day," in her honor. Dreaming of You, her final album, was released posthumously in the early summer. It became the first Tejano album to reach number one in America and was double platinum by the end of the year.

How sad this world is, Lets make new memories without the HATE!!
